We begin along the River Lagan at the ‘Big Fish’ and take you on a fascinating walk through 400 years of Belfast’s history, from an Elizabethan settlement to a post conflict city.
Along the way hear stories of rebellion, conflict and humanity and learn how the city became an industrial powerhouse of the Victorian era. You will also see some of Belfast’s beautiful Victorian built heritage and walk through some of its unique entries and cobbled streets including the vibrant Cathedral Quarter and its colourful street art.
After learning about the recent ‘Troubles’ and how the city has re-invented itself as a ‘must-see’ tourist destination our tour finishes at the iconic City Hall in the heart of Belfast city centre.
