Setting off from one of Belfast’s most iconic buildings, Belfast City Hall, tour highlights include: the world renowned Titanic Quarter, home to Titanic Belfast visitor attraction and SS Nomadic; HMS Caroline, lone survivor of the Battle of Jutland; Queens University; Stormont Parliament Buildings; Cypress Avenue, made famous by Van Morrison; Grand Opera House; the beautifully ornate Crown Bar; St Anne’s Cathedral and the new centre of Belfast’s buzzing nightlife, Cathedral Quarter.
During the tour you will hear stories of Belfast’s Elizabethan origins and the cities phenomenal growth to become an ‘Industrial Powerhouse’ of the British Empire. You will also explore Belfast’s unique connections with the founding of the USA, and its fascinating Maritime and Industrial heritage which of course includes the building of RMS Titanic.
